About Medi A Mediterranean wine bar in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC
Our Story
Where it began
Medi’s partners Dorian Gashi and Andrea Giacomoni share more than 35 years of experience in food, wine and service. They met about ten years ago and quickly found a shared love for food, wine, music, history, politics and soccer.
From that friendship, Medi Wine Bar & Restaurant was born. Both share a Mediterranean food and wine background, and trying new ideas and experimenting with ingredients from across the region is part of Medi’s daily routine.
