From an intimate dinner in the candlelit Wine Cellar to a full buyout of the restaurant, Medi sets the stage for occasions worth remembering, on Ninth Avenue in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen.
Our team works with you on every detail, from the menu and wine to the timing of the evening, so you can simply enjoy it with your guests.
Planning something smaller? Our semi-private area in the Wine Cellar, set apart with curtains, seats up to 24 guests at two large tables. It is booked à la carte, so everyone orders what they like from the menu.

A curtained-off corner of the Wine Cellar with two large tables joined together. No package needed: order à la carte from the menu.

Downstairs and candlelit, surrounded by bottles. Made for intimate dinners, tastings and milestone celebrations.

Our main dining room, set around the open kitchen, with rustic tables, wine racks and warm light. Ideal for birthdays, rehearsal dinners and company celebrations.

Private events FAQ
How many guests can Medi host?
Each space can be booked on its own: the Main Dining Room seats up to 40 (up to 65 for a cocktail reception), the Wine Cellar seats up to 55 (up to 75 for a cocktail reception) and the seasonal Outdoor Patio seats up to 60 (up to 80 for a cocktail reception). Combined, we can host 115 to 120 guests. For smaller groups, our semi-private area in the cellar seats up to 24, ordering à la carte.
How much does a private event cost?
Party packages start at $45 per person for parties starting between 4 and 6pm ($55 after 6pm), with family-style and prix fixe menus up to $110 per person. See each package menu above.
Do you offer open bar packages?
Yes. Our two-hour open bar packages are $39 per person for beer and wine, $49 with well drinks and martinis, and $79 for premium spirits. A brunch open bar is $28 per person. Open bar is available with sit-down menus only.
Which spaces can I book?
The Main Dining Room, the Wine Cellar and, in season, the back garden. Full restaurant buyouts are available by inquiry.
